Hi! We are Daron and Liz, the faces behind Sports Deal Mom. We decided to start this blog as a way to help ourselves and others find the best deals on sports equipment for both kids and adults. With 2 kids, both playing multiple sports each season, the constant need to upgrade equipment gets expensive fast. Not to mention, trying to decipher between the true and honest reviews and the fake reviews planted by companies making the search take even longer.

We have both been around and played multiple sports for most of our lives. Liz is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Daron is a Mechanical Engineer. In our spare time (haha) we are both very active in our local sports leagues. Daron coaches our son’s Little League team and is on their Board of Directors, as well as helps out on our daughter’s softball team. Liz is an assistant coach for softball, help with social media for both baseball and softball, and in the winter, she is a ski instructor at our local mountain. Our son (11) plays baseball, soccer and basketball, and our daughter (7) plays softball, soccer and cheerleading, and both kids ski with us all winter long.
